My roommate and I have our 2 computers together on the same table. We both like to voice chat with other friends at the same time. I was wondering if someone had a good uni-directional microphone recomendation. We would just like to get 1 mic and set it between us, so both of us can talk. Thanks alot.

go to Staples, or Best Buy or Circuit City or even Target -

get a cheap microphone (Labtec, GE, it doesn't matter)

you should be able to get a decent microphone for $10.00 (give or take $5) here's the one i got linky

you don't need "USB" or "digital"

i have a nice stereo Sony microphone (~$90) PAIN IN THE @SS to use as a computer mic
i got a cheapo labtec microphone - bingo i'm much happier!

link to labtec microphones

If you all buy the MS Game Voice, you can all talk together as well as mute individual people out. It works great for network gaming, too, my friends and I use em all the time. Plus if you feel like listening to music on the headphones, the quality is actually very good. Setup is a breeze and they're very comfortable. Highly recommend them.
