Recommendation for a color printer?

Budget is around $100-150. This is for a HS student who needs to print color and B&W school hw. It would be nice if it's available at B&M stores like Best Buy or Office Depot. Suggestions?

For that price range......... I like the Canon i560

I agree i560 is a fine choice ,so is the Canon i865 (which`s what I`ve).

I got a Canon S750 last year and love it. The color prints are great and I don't get raped when it comes time to get new ink kits.

Canon all the way...I'll never buy another overpriced HP again. :|

Going to put in my recommendation for any of the Canon i series printers! The Canon's print beautiful crisp clear black text and good color graphics on "standard" mode. Much better on "high quality" color.

Ink costs for the Canon i series is very cheap.

I saw the i350 and i450 printers at Comp USA for $47USD last Tuesday. The i560 was $80USD I think.

Get any canon that uses the BCI-3E series of ink carts. The lower end ones have a combined colour tank so is hard to refill.
