A while back I purchased a variety of home audio/theater equipment based on advice here, which was outstanding. Today I am coming with another request for advice on a center channel speaker.
Currently I have:
- a nice $300 Onkyo receiver (cannot remember model #)
- a pair of AV123 ELT-525 bookshelf speakers as my front left and right
- an 8" Dayton powered subwoofer
- 47" LG LCD TV
- Samsung BluRay player
This is really a great sounding setup for a family for home audio/video. We're not real picky and price is definitely a consideration. I'm not sure what these things cost (I've seen some expensive ones - $400+ - which is just way too much).
Does anybody have a suggestion or two for a center channel speaker with this setup? I think I've read that you need one that "matches" your current speakers. Not sure what goes with the ELT-525s, but I know AV123 is OOB these days.
TIA!
