recommendation for a 27" or 32" TV

think I want a flat screen, been looking at Philips, Sony WEGA, Toshiba... any flat out recommendations or TV/brands to stay away from?

Tau's are a nice alternative to WEGAs. Also I believe the FS and FV Wega's are the same screen. The FV just has more options/inputs. The XBR is the a different/better screen.

I've got a Toshiba 32"... Upgraded from an RCA 27". BIG difference! I would have gone bigger, but that's the most TV I could squeeze into my entertainment center! The Toshiba looks great too, very pleased with it.

oh yeah one more thing. actually GO to a store and look at the TVs picture for yourself. Some people like the screen of the TAU some people like the screen of a Sony better.

On paper the Sony is the best overall but overpriced.

yeah i'm definitely going to the stores to look at the tv's, but i just wanted to get a quick rundown on which ones i should look out for. there are just so many choices.

just went to sams club and bought a 32" flat screen JVC tv....lovin it so far!!! 32" Flat Screen Television
