recommend wifi system for my house (floor plan included)

Hello all, I am looking into a mesh wifi system for my new home. Floor plan here: https://ibb.co/jLzdMF
From the picture my modem and current c7 router is installed in my office room at the far front corner (indicated by the red circle).
Currently the wifi strength gets shaky in the family room among other other places (which will obviously be a high wifi activity area).
One of my concerns is mesh systems like to have the router centrally located so that the satellites dont interfere with each other and avoiding a multihop setup so I'm intrigued with the Orbi which technically isnt mesh but not sure if one satellite in the middle of the house will really saturate every room with a solid signal.
Considering the modem is not moving from the office, I would like input on the recommended wifi system to purchase to achieve a strong signal throughout this 2 story ~3400 sqft house.
thanks!

Option 1 (simplistic): Switch main router for Google Wifi, put a second Google Wifi upstairs/ centrally located. If feasible, run Cat5 from office to location of 2nd Google Wifi box for a wired backhaul.
Option 2: Keep existing router, run cat5 to centralized location upstairs, add a Ubiquity UAP-AC-LITE (Amazon=$82) or UAP-AC-PRO (Amazon=$130).

Option 1 is simpler, but has less control.
Option 2 requires a little more work and configuration.

yes nothing advanced needed. I would like to avoid wiring as much as possible as id have run wire back to the office as well and deal with all the wall patching and repainting. Amplifi was another system I was looking in. My one concern is that the main router would not be centrally located so the two satellites might not play nice with each other.

I had not seen this review of the Orbi compared to the Amplifi, eero, or Luma until today. It's honestly a pretty strong system, and if you're concerned about the coverage of just one satellite, get the two satellite model (or add additional satellite to standard model if needed).

Note from original mesh roundup:

After this review posted, Ubiquiti contacted us to protest our use of a 2x2 test client. Amplifi HD uses 3x3 AC1750 class both in its router and "mesh point" extender and Amplifi uses 3x3 AC1750 in its router and 3x3 N900 class in its mesh point. So it is true our 2x2 STA will not show the higher throughput that Amplifi should be capable of when used with 3x3 devices.

However, since eero and Luma are 2x2 designs, using a 2x2 test STA provides a level playing field for comparison among all three products. There is also nothing in the use of a 2x2 test STA that should prevent Amplifi from using its 3x3 architecture to obtain higher-bandwidth backhaul between mesh points and router. But our tests do not show a noticeable performance advantage from Amplifi or Amplifi HD.
