I already ordered some banana plugs from amazon that are single Sewell Ocelet or something like that.

I was wondering what sites people would recommend purchasing from and what type of banana plugs people use. It probably doesnt make much of a difference. I got a pack of 24 individual ones for $23 off amazon so....

Just curious what others use....

I buy whatever is cheap and solder the wire. Works fine.

I couldn't get the closed type from MP to work for me. YMMV but I threw them all out.

If you need interconnects and you're not buying from monoprice, you're doing it wrong.

i got some of the closed ones from monoprice last week and used em to hook up some speakers. they are my first experience with banana plugs but i think they are awesome.

got about 30 or 35 of those.

That's what I use as well, and they work fine.

EDIT:

Although, I should add that some of mine loosen up over time. I think that's because you tend to fold the wire strands over the top of the bottom of the plug. I'm guessing that if the strands get in the screw threads, then it causes it to loosen up over time. I mostly see the loosening occur in my downstairs setup, but I haven't lost audio or anything because of it. If I'm ever back by a speaker, I'll just check them.
