HI,

Can anyone recommend a video card for my aging 1.2 GHz AMD Athlon PC please? I use it mainly for games, (yes, I know I need a new PC but the HD just died and I thought I'd take this oppotunity to changeout the NVidia MX/MX440) please?

Thanks,

Troy

PS I have no budget set, however it must be reasonable cost given how old the PC is.

PPS Thanks

Well, how much money can you spend? It would probably be worth it to just get a new PC than spend any money upgrading stuff. Maybe just buy a HD that you'll use in a new system build while you try to get more money.

yeah, i agree with Ultramags, my amd 1.4 worked great with nvidia GF TI4200. I'd recommend going to newegg's site and either getting a nivida card, or a radeon 9700 pro which are still great cards for the price. But, If your HD died, how are you going to play games? I'd replace that first, then get a new video card.
