Recommend tour operator Seattle to Europe?

Hoping to pick up a bargain fare to England or Europe for Feb 2004. Anyone have any suggestions? We're here in Seattle.

Rick Steves! From what I've read people really dig his company's tours and he's based up in your neck of the woods as well. You can check out his website at www.ricksteves.com. The last time I went on a European tour was with a company by the name of Globus. They were a good tour company, but are a bit expensive.
Have you considered backpacking on your own? It requires more work, but is immensely more gratifying than a tour could be (and more affordable too). I spent a month backpacking in Western Europe with some friends last year and had a blast. We were also able to stay in Europe twice as long as we would have paying for a tour.

Do it yourself. I've been a few times and have never considered a tour. Figure out where you want to go and get out there.

Also, airfare internationally is a bit of a different beast. It's typically much better to buy tickets near your destination date. Last two times I've bought mine within 2 or 3 weeks to get the best deal. Int. airfare really depends on the economy everywhere and changes more often than domestic fares. Thus, wait until late Dec to start looking at flights.
