Recommend some witty/humorous books

Major Major Major Major.

Was his middle name Major, too? I thought it was just three Majors in the book.

And it's pretty cool that I'm not the only one who has actually read Catch 22. Gotta be my favorite book...but anytime I mention it, people are like 'yeah, of course I know what a catch 22 is...what book?'

I highly recommend it to anyone, regardless of age or general literary preferences. It's not like trying to read Hemingway.

More like Chuck Palahniuk if he could actually spit out more than 200 pages (though I do like him...his books are just a bit bare bones).

I love Catch 22. One of my all time faves. Sadly, I haven't much enjoyed anything else by Heller.

I have Closing Time. Someone gave it to me as a gift. I have not been able to bring myself to read it, because I fear it may ruin Catch 22 for me, which I would like to read again.
