Recommend some projectors for under $500

Trying to come up with a list of candidates for a projector under $500 that doesn't use bulbs, (lampless/bulbless) uses LEDs for light source.

I like the thought of a big screen plus it's good for videos too.

Is there a gaming site that reviews projectors? I didn't find one.

If you want to step up to a nicer projector the W1070 is the most highly regarded in that respect. Otherwise, I'd get something like that. For $200 or so extra the W1070 is nice but all depends on what you want.

I dunno how much the bulb is. My tiny apartment bedroom doesn't get hot though. It does get hot if I combine that, with my gaming rig when I'm gaming though.

I mean it's 240 Watts.... But I'm guessing that's at full power? I run mine in Eco mode and I could turn down the brightness. Sometimes smart eco if I'm running a movie and I want it bright so I can see around in my room better to grab things.

But it's really up to how sensitive you are to noise and power consumption. Eco mode works for me though.
The noise may not work for you, and that's where the LED projectors are really great imo.
