I've found that biographies are usually more interesting than fiction, it's kind of like spying on someone's life. Some of the more interesting one's I've read:

Malcolm X (this guy's life deserved a movie, the biography was even better)
Richard Wright (black author)
Rockerfeller Family (this was a really great read, long as hell but nonetheless very informative)
Marquis de Sade (I've only read his bio's on the web, this guy was freaky) :Q

Anyone care to recommend a few good bio's

The only one that I've read recently was General H. Norman Schwarzkopf's. Was a required reading for my Modern Military History class a few semesters ago and it was one of the few history books that I made no attempt at all to sell back. It was pretty darn good. I should read it again sometime...

Stormin Norman huh?? I'll add that name to my list

anyone here into Dream Theatre, I'm listening to their Train of Thought. The first song rawks

I've always thought it would be interesting to read a biography of Napoleon, but I've never done it. How about you let me know how it is?

I am Jackie Chan. It was really a very interesting read.

Currently working on If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a 'B' Movie Actor about good ole Ash (Bruce Campbell).

That Jackie Chan book is great! I like his movies, but it blew me away to see what kind of childhood he had and how much training he's had. Wow.
