I need some new cds and I don't know which ones to buy. I listen to:

Pennywise, Ten Foot Pole, Millencolin, Deviates, Fenix Tx, Offspring (Smash and earlier), AFI, and Nofx the most. I got most of the cds of those bands so I'm looking for some new ones that are same type of music.

Thanks!

I'm assuming you have the Ramones in your collection? If not that'd be my first suggestion.

Lethal

EDIT: Also, check out Rancid if you haven't already

The Misfits, or maybe AC (I can't spell out the name it would get be banned). If you heard of this band you should recognize it.

I'd have to say the Casualties are one of the best punk bands ever.

edit: A Global Threat is really good too, they'll be touring with the Casualties next summer I think

I don't know I'm not much of a fan of bands like the Ramones, Bad Religion, Black Flagg, Misfits, etc... they're pretty good just I don't like them as much as ones such as the ones I listed. Only heard like one Good Riddance song before, might have to check them out.

Lots of people only really like melodic punk, and that's ok... you really shou check out the bouncing souls though (at least download "Ole!" and "Here we go").

Also try Face to Face and No Use for a Name.

Hey what about the Sex Pistols? I believe the best album
was Never Mind The Bollocks. Also the Cramps had some
fun songs,

Ill chime in with some less "political" punk with some that sound more like what you suggested.

The Ataris
New Found Glory
Saves The Day
The Get Up Kids
and any Blink 182 in the general area of Buddah and Dude Ranch (their best cd)

Also, The Decendants and Allister are pretty good too.

thrice
rufio

lost north star
the juliana theory (emo)

allister for about 5 days cuz they get boring after a while
up syndrome (get their new halloween song)

home grown
alkaline trio
the vandals
midtown

dont waste your time with riverfenix (fenix tx) :p

but seriously, thrice is the best punk (more specifically, melodic hardcore) band out right now, their new album is due out early next year.. it's gonna be great

Juliana Theory isnt technically a punk band (well, they arent even untechnically a punk band) They are straight emo, but they rock something sweet. If you like them, check out Jimmy Eat World and Jets To Brazil.

Which brings up another good punk band. Jawbreaker.

iamwiz28,

I actually know someone who played Beer pong against the drummer from AC.

He destroyed him.

No Motiv is a great punk band. I think that their first album, And the sadness prevails has their best songs, but their other albums are good too.
