Recommend some good hip-hop groups to me

I'm not looking for like tupac, dr. dre, stuff like that. I got some Jurassic 5 and Hieroglyphics songs and those are cool and I'm looking for more like that not the popular rap on mtv.

the only hip-hop group you'll ever need is A Tribe Called Quest hip hop isnt what it used to be, and a tribe called quest is thee hip hop, IMHO.

If you're looking for just groups (ala J5), check out De La Soul, Pharcyde, Slum Village, The Roots, and The Spooks. All make great music (I'm not too into De La myself however)

If you want some cool jazz-hop, check out Justice System...you might have to go to a used CD store to find their album "Rooftop Soundcheck," though...I never saw any of their songs on Napster or the like. yakko's and everybody else's recommendations are great, too...pretty much who I would've recommended.
