recommend some good Golf Shoes

My dad hinted that his old pair is tearing up, so I thought I might get him a new pair for xmas.

He indicated his feet should stay dry and comfortable. Soft spikes preferred.

any suggestions?

shoes are way too personal to buy for someone else.
they may end up hurting like hell when he tries them on..etc.etc.

Golf shoes should really fit properly or you'll be miserable.

If he plays a lot and plays different courses (like when he travels) get him a cool golf ball holder. It looks like a rack and hangs on the wall.
