Recommend some games (for xbox1)

I have Battlefront II and it's not bad, but it's lacking in replay value, especially in the space missions. What are some similar games that have a bit more meat to them? Also, both are important but multiplayer is more important than singleplayer, and this is for xbox1, not 360.

?

Come on, I know there's a lot of you that still have some favorite xbox1 games you still play on your 360

Only xbox1 game I play on the 360 is GTA: San Andreas. And only because I love that game so much I have it for all my consoles and the PC version too. 🙂 Other than that I never owned an xbo1.

Deathrow is an awesome game but hard to find, and it's not like Battlefront

Ninja Gaiden is amazing

I also liked Forza, Mercenaries, GTA, Halo (Gaylo), Gun, Prince of Persia games, Splinter Cell games, Fable.

That's not what I originally had in mind, but I like your list 😀 I'm mostly interested in multiplayer stuff, so I probably won't do a whole lot with the RPGs etc, but I can see my room mate getting into Forza, and Mercenaries looks good for when I want to play by myself.

Multiplayer? Find Deathrow. Srsly.

There aren't many games 'like' battlefront, I'm afraid. It's a shame, because the idea of it is great, but the execution is horrid. And if you don't have Halo (1), get it for coop. The single player (and multi, for that matter) is much better than 2.

Conker Live and Reloaded was a great game, but there really aren't a lot of people playing it nowadays. Of course there's Halo 2, Unreal Championship 2 was ok, I think I got mine for $5 from Amazon. If you like fighters there's Capcom Vs. SNK 2, Street Fighter Anniversary Collection, and Guilty Gear X2:R, not sure how many people still play those. Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is one of the few games with online co-op. Rainbow Six was the de facto multiplayer game before Halo 2 came. If you meant offline multiplayer then definitely Fuzion Frenzy, one of the best party games ever, the 2nd one for the 360 pales in comparison, even with its online play. Also, the Lego Star Wars games have 2 player co-op but are said to be short and easy. X-Men Legends 1/2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance along with Baldur's Gate 2 are all worth playing with a friend, not so much alone.

If you're looking for deep most people recommend Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, but I've never played them. And Ninja Gaiden is pretty much a must have for any Xbox owner. I'd recommend Jet Set Radio Future and Tetris Worlds, both were pack-in games with the Xbox and should be cheap (along with SW: Clone Wars and Sega GT 2002 on the same disc). Other not so deep games I still think are worth picking up: Psychonauts for sure, Jade Empire, PoP Sands of Time, Riddick EFBB, and Beyond Good & Evil if you haven't already played them on PC. Most people like Fable and GTA San Andreas, but I personally couldn't get past the first hour or so of either, I thought they were both shit.

Games worth at least a rent: Oddworld Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath, Timesplitters 2, Otogi 1/2, Stubbs the Zombie, Metal Arms, Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction, Black, Warriors, Tony Hawks Underground 2, Shenmue 2, Manhunt, Ultimate Spiderman.

I highly recommend just going to gamerankings.com and looking at what's rated the highest. Since it sounds like you're interested in FPS games, I've organized an FPS-only list for you. You can change the parameters to include other genres if you wish.

I didn't play it multiplayer, but FWIW, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect was my favorite FPS single-player campaign from the original Xbox. It's rare that you see an FPS story be that entertaining.
