Recommend some decent black dress shoes

The ones I have really tear up my feet. I would be wearing them everyday, but I don't want to spend too much money on them. They would have to be comfortable and durable. Oh, and I want them to look nice of course 😉

I don't care much for the look of Ecco shoes, but they are comfortable. Drop a bundle and get some Finn Comforts. Possibly the most comfortable shoes I'v ever worn. Not cheap, (around $200./pr, but your feet will appreciate it. White's Boots makes a nice pair of walking shoes. Made to fit your foot, they run nearly $200./pari as well. MOre if you have to have a speical last made for your foot. Another good (and less spendy) option is SAS shoes. Not the most stylish, but great for comfort.
I'm one of those people who go to great lengths (and often expense) to avoid buying stuff made in China, so most shoes out there never even get a look from me. :Tennis shoes" are about the only ones that I end up with from China, and I avoid those when I can. Getting harder and harder to find things "Made in America" or even "free" countries...
 
You should never wear the same pair of dress shoes two days in a row. This is if they are leather lined.

Shoes need to breathe, stick a pair of shoe trees in them each night as well.

Are you on your feet all day in them are you in a chair?

If you are on your feet, have a look at Mephisto, ECCO, Clark's, or Rockports.

For shoes that will last over 5yrs with proper care, have alook at Allen Edmonds.

i will be getting a pair in a couple weeks, we are moving buildings and going from casual dress code to business casuals, so i need a new pair of dress shoes. rockports are very comfortable

I am on my feet on and off but mostly sitting in my office. Thanks for your suggestion.
 
I got some stylish Salvatore Ferragamo dress shoes at Nordstrom's Rack store for like $70 which is cheap if you've ever looked at that brands average price. I got lucky they had a pair in my size. :thumbsup:
 
After trying geox for a week I will never wear anything else. Their breathes system is just completely awesome. An entire day of walking around and my feet do not smell at all. I absolutely love them.
