I mostly listen to rock and all it's variations, but I'm open to most anything if it's good.

I listened to the Korn - take a look in the mirror, that got boring after 2 months.
Back to offspring and ancient metallica I go..

I usually listen to Classic Rock and heavier stuff, but I find this stuff really good for a change of pace:

Acoustic Alchemy - Against the Grain.
This is if you like really great guitar playing. Some people might consider it elevator music, but as I guitarist I find it inspiring. No lyrics, just good stuff.

Well I dont know about complete CDs (I recently bought a Johnny Cash best of double album), but you could do a search for "I chase the devil" on kazaa. There are two versions: the original reggae version and the remix. Both are great.

Something Corporate - North
SR-71 - Now You See Inside
FM Static - What Are You Waiting For? (sort of cheesy pop-rock, FYI)

It's not new, but might be new to you. (and very "modern" sounding music)

Faith No More - Angeldust, and The Real Thing (both over 10 years old, but great tunes).

moe.

'Wormword' won for best album last night at the jammys. That would be a good start. Or, get 'L', a double live album of select cuts. The Warts and All series of live albums are great as well.

"Epic", "Falling to Pieces" are hard rock classics. Great CD.

you probably don't have:

Chris Whitley - Living With The Law (blues-rock)
Richard Thompson - Amnesia, Rumour and Sigh
Grant Lee Buffalo - Mighty Joe Moon

So far, this is what I think:

Black Eyed Peas - Elephunk: Not what I normally lsiten to, but it's kidna cool and different. I think I'll try that.
Korn - Take a Look in the Mirror: I'm not much of a Korn fan.
Deftones - White Pony: A little too hard and metalish for my tastes.
Acoustic Alchemy - Against the Grain: Kinda cool chill out music, I think I'll try this one, too.
Something Corporate - North: I actually like these guys, I think I'll grab this one, too.
SR-71 - Now You See Inside: Haven't listened yet.
FM Static - What Are You Waiting For?: Haven't listened yet.
Bic Runga - Beautiful Collison: Kinda slow for my tastes.
Air - Talkie Walkie: Can't fin somewhere to preview it.
Frou Frou - Details: Hmm, not bad, maybe.
Michael Franti & Spearhead - Everyone Deserves Music: Haven't Listened Yet
The Shins - Chutes Too Narrow: Haven't Listened Yet
Faith No More - Angeldust, and The Real Thing: Hmm, I dunno, not really my style I think.
White Stripes - White Blood Cells and Elephant: Hmm, I still haven't decided on what I think of the White Stripes in general. Sometimes I like them and sometimes I don't... maybe.

That's about as far as I've gotten.
