I currently have an XFX 8600 GT card that blew a few capacitors. I am not looking to spend much. I no longer play games but do edit photos.

How is it that the caps blew awhile ago [ without me knowing what it was ] and there hasn't been a change to the video since?
 
Did that card have a lifetime warrantee?

Bug XFX for an Nvidia card as replacement if it did 😀. I wonder what they would do if you refused to take an ATi/AMD card as replacement.
