Recommend Please

Could any one recommend a SECURE wireless router,i have had a ploblem recently with a neighbor trying to hack my current wireless network.
(this person is a bum and is trying to gain free internet acces)

WPA offers much better security than WEP, as long as you use long keys. It's not perfect, but it's way better than any other wireless option, unless you want to spend lots of money and time.

The best solution would be to get a VPN gateway (on the cheap, try a Linksys BEFVP41) to use between the wireless and the Internet connection and treat the wireless LAN as "outside" and use a VPN client on the wireless client side. WPA is a good deal more secure than WEP, but I am not convinced that it is as secure as IPsec. Besides that, if you have an intent intruder, the additional amount of obfuscation of running IPsec on top of your wireless link may help.

My concern with something like IPsec is the amount of obfuscation confusing the hell of of the actual user of the link! :D

How does someone find out the MAC address they need to spoof? Surely the router doesn't broadcast the address it's looking for?
