No one wants to actually *play* basketball with me, so I'd like a video game. It needs to be for PS2 or PC. I'd like something kind of like Madden where you can build up a team over years, etc. No streetball games, please.
 
espn nba basketball 2004, better than live
live is too arcadish... if you want something like madden for basketball it's espn.
 
Too bad you don't have an XBOX, then I'd recommend Inside Drive 2004. Way better than ESPN in my opinion. But since you have a PS2, ESPn is the only second option. Live is great but a little bit too free-flowing. It's a dunk-o-rama.
