I've been given a monumentally boring task at work. Reconciling GIS maps so speed data matches up with streets for our new traffic software. Basically it means double checking the computers work street by street for all of Canada. Half the department is working on it.

I've spent the last three days alone in the studio working on it. I've been watching stuff online to prevent myself from going insane. My boss doesn't care as long as the mapping gets done.

So far I've watched a whole bunch of TED Talks, all epidodes of Half in the Bag, a bunch of other movie reviews on Thatguywiththeglasses. Need some suggestions on what else I can watch online for free. Keep in mind I'm in Canada so Hulu and Amazon are right out. Netflix is pretty much the only thing I don't have access to at work. Actually I've never tried it but someone told me it was blocked. Mostly looking for stuff that I can listen too. So vids and podcats that arent heavily visual. Open to any ideas.

Watch QI.

Also, if you are OK with watching dissection of huge animals.. watch Inside Nature's Giants.

Both are available in Youtube.

Oh my gawd... sorry you have to do such a shitty job.

I just finished mapping every meter of highway guide rail for an entire county. I used Google Earth instead of ArcGIS + internal addon because that thing takes a minute to load orthos. And only like 40 people in the "company" can access ArcGIS, so eff that.

Youtube and Dailygrace. About a year or two worth of videos. Kinda funny. She's hot, but not an annoying bitch.

Or Todd & the Book of Pure Evil on Space and/or comedy network.

I wanted to watch Falling Skies on TNT's website, but F&cking Time Warner doesn't provide me with the option. Hell, even Comcast customers have the oppurtunity. TW sucks ballssss

anything with "porn" in the subject...not sure how why you would need people to tell you how to google.

I'm using ConfleX, though ArcGIS is used for our mapping. This one's used for speed data. It's easy, just very time consuming.

I like watching Historical Korean movies with subtitles.

A lot of time I start on HULU. However most of the Shows are actually TV series and you can watch them on other sites like:
www.viki.com
www.dramafever.com

Viki has a lot of shows from different countries. Some of them are available in multiple subtitle languages. Also some of the shows are also from different countries.

isn't south park available on comedy central's website?

As I said, US television networks can't stream online to Canada. Don't have the broadcast rights. Comedy Network lost the streaming rights to South Park here. Hey, Netflix does work afterall. Wonder if Walking Dead S2 is up yet. Lets see, should I watch Dexter, Breaking Bad, or continue with my Trailer Park Boys marathon.
