Recommend me some paperback novels.

I just read World War Z by Max Brooks. It's a zombie book, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Any other zombie books worth reading?

How about other sci-fi, horror, or thriller books available in paperback that you've read & enjoyed? I've got the classics mostly covered, so less well-known works would be most appreciated.

Thanks!

If you liked World War Z, you'll probably like The Zombie Survival Guide by the same author.

All Things Zombies has a list of Zombie related books.

If you are into horror/fantasy fiction (with a bit of sex...well more than a bit the last 6 or so in the series), I recommend Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series (she is a vampire hunter and an animator-raises zombies). There are 14 in the series and the 15th book comes out in June.

Probably already read "The Zombie Survival Guide"

Brian Keene "The Rising" and "City of the Dead"

David Moody Autumn series. Big plus for these is the first book is FREE!!! http://www.djmoody.co.uk/Autumn.htm

Those are the better zombie books I've read.

If you are bored just look through my book list. I keep track of everything I read and I read mostly trash horror, werewolves, vampires, zombies, etc 🙂. book list just need excel.

Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk

Anything by Chuck Palahniuk actually.

That series started great, but after like book 7-8, it was more porn than anything.

True but if you can read over the porn-ish parts, the books aren't bad.

Yeah hasn't been out a real long time. Not one of my favorite series but I'm not a big fantasy guy. I did just start reading through the Dragon Riders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey and am really enjoying those.

The Anita Blake books were good stupid fun up till around book 7 or 8. After that they really don't have a plot and its just Anita having wilder and wilder sex. If you skip over all the sex that adds nothing to the story a 400 page book turns into about 50 pages.

I hate these threads.

i always end up getting a bunch of books and i already have a fvcking stack to read.
