Any suggestions? I'm open to anything really - rock, techno, pop, classical, whatever. Slow songs, peaceful songs, relaxing songs... ballads? love songs maybe? nothing too sappy...

Miles Davis-Flamenco Sketches....listening to it right now.

Anything R Kelly is good to sit back and chill to.

Beethoven's Fifth is my favorite thing to listen to while I study, or even in the morning when I am getting ready for an important day. Helps me relax and focus. Also, there are quite a few good Jimmy Buffet songs that not too many people listen to:
Happily Ever After (Every Now and Then)
A Pirate Looks at Forty
Tin Cup Chalice
Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes
Death of an Unpopular Poet
Semi-True Story

Most of those are his lesser-known songs. I highly recommend all of them. The ones I listed are slower, more mellow songs. All excellent.

Just about any 80's music will be good listening and if you like it. Then it will keep you awake as well

i found it somewhere...all of linkin park's songs...in the instrumental form...done only by a piano....VERY VERY VERY nice...one or two songs might not be relaxing as they are kinda upbeat but the rest are very mellow....i dont think its official stuff so i dont think i can be sent on a vacation for telling you that you might find it on mIRC...search packetnews.com for it..thats where i got it...if not then PM if you really want a copy...ill try and find it...

Cocteau Twins. There's a great acoustic album of Tom Cochrane called A Circling Spirit.
