I'm trying to get some subscriptions for our library. We currently have none. Sad, I know... No specific subject. If it has to do with technology, I would like to hear about it.

PC Magazine but it can tend to get very technical and dull sometimes because they have to cover a broad spectrum.
 
For software development:
- Dr. Dobbs Journal
- C/C++ User Journal
- MSDN Magazine

These don't become stale after a few months like PC Mag etc. do.

For games:
- Computer Gaming World
 
eWeek. emphasizes on enterprise level computing. but there are some software review here and there.

i got a free subscription for a couple of years now, they kept e-mailing me to make me re-register to qualify for extending the free subscription. i never did, but they never stopped sending me the magazine. it's been more than six months since they told me that "this is your last issue!", and i have moved since then, but they keep coming and coming every week 🙂
