Head over to McMinnimens, get some Terminator to go. Terminator is as dark as Guinnes but not bitter its smooth and rich.

I am looking for some suggestions on a good beer, price isn't an issue. But I don't think any beer would be good enough to be $50 for a six pack.

So does anyone have any favorites to suggest? Ones who've heard to be good?

Thanks :)

Gouden Carolus Grand Cru of the Emperor (my personal favorite, but pretty hard to find and expensive)

Gouden Carolus Noel (an excellent beligan ale)

Young's Chocolate Stout (available at most Trader Joe's)

Delirium Tremens (some swaer this is the best beer in the world, bu it's finish is a bit... harsh... for my taste)

Velvet (czech beer made by the Staropramen (old prague) brewery. Tough to find, but worth it. Think extra smooth guinness)

Dead Guy is good stuff.

Can't go wrong with Guinness, Newcastle, Honey Brown, Smithwicks, Harp...

I'm sure others will add.

That's very diversified list there. Guinness is way too bitter for me, maybe it's some such lack I have in testosterone and I found Smithwicks much too light for my tastes, kind of like miller water.

I've never heard Smithwicks to be light or compared to an american lager or pilsner. That's a first...

BLASPHEMY, BLASPHEMY I SAY! How dare you compare Smithwicks, or any other "real" beer to that great american pisswater known sold under the Miller brand. That's like saying a fine wine is like Mannischewitz.

not really. microbreweries tend to have better tasting beers because they use beter ingredients. beer, especially higher ABV varieties, has pretty long shelf life.

something weird's going on with your tongue. guinness (and stouts in general) are some of the least bitter beers available.
