Recommend me some Curry receipies

I had curry for the first time ever last week and found out i really liked it. Any of you have recipies(that you make yourself) and could suggest some? Preferably with a little kick to them...but not too much. Anything with chicken is great too, i love chicken(i'm white)

the kind i had was vietnamese, but japanese would probably be fine too. I've heard indian food is teh uber picante so i'd try and avoid that if possible
