Recommend me some Amiga games

That will control well using emulator on laptop.

Types of games I'd be interested in:
baseball....not simulation, just arcade fun
text adventure....not where I have to guess words, prefer some visual art
Zelda style RPG...turn based ok but not too deep.
Point n click...nothing known to be very difficult or abstract puzzle.
Nothing fast paced, intense or something likely played on another platform like Another World.

Not exactly what you're looking for but I remember Empire Deluxe, Talenguard and space taxi being tons of fun.
M.U.L.E was best but only in multiplayer.

Been way too long since I played on the Amiga and most of the best weren't really exclusives like Monkey Island, Beneath A Steel Sky, Simon the Sorcerer etc...

But

Speris Legacy - Fits in for your Zelda-style.

Spiris legacy looks great. Didn't see much from Cinemaware I'd be interested in now and Elite frontier is more than I wanted to get into.
I think I might give spirit of excalibur another chance. Any other suggestions?

Phantasie III: The Wrath of Nikademus <--- really good classic

Alternate reality: the city <-- not much point but fun

eye of the beholder 2

rpg all the way

One of my favorites from those days was Wings. I also enjoyed all of the SSI AD&D games like Pool of Radiance and the Dragonlance ones.

some of the better ones:

Bullfrog ( almost all)
Populous I & II
Powermonger (bit faster paced)

EOB 1-2-3
Dungeon Keeper 1 -2
Wings- (glad there is a new kickstarter for this)
Walker- fast paced

Supremacy- slower "take over the world" type game

man there are so many, its hard to pick, but I grew up with that Beast.

I second Wings and Shadow of the Beast.

I also would recommend Black Crypt as I believe that was Raven Software's first game (and I think it was exclusive to the Amiga).

Also Scorched Tanks was awesome.

Trying to remember back 20 years to what I liked playing on that platform. My memories are really disappearing as I age. Yikes!

No doubt, best of the DM/EOB clones, The Raven webpage used to have a port of the first level for PC you could grab for free.. halfbrite mode!

I remember Eye of beholder on sega CD, just not into those types. I will check into the others mentioned however. Had some trouble getting my Amiga emulator to work very well. just a black screen I may have to try another

ANYTHING made by Psygnosis!

Immidiately start with the Shadow of the Beast series.

Played that to death on Genesis back in the day. Definitely too hard and time consuming for me to enjoy today. I just can't do the replay game from beginning thing like I used to. As for part 3, i have watched some "lets play" vids before and I liked the music but damn it's graphics are worse than the previous 2.

Archon: The Light and the Dark

Used to love Ultimate Wizard but think that was C64 and not Amiga. Been a LONG time.

most of you are missing this part.. Psygnosis= fast paced, Heck SOB = perfect timing

There where tons of DK/EOB games, WaxWorks was quite good for an Unknown, Ishar, but i think most where on other systems.. There where very few Amiga Exclusives that where not "action" the reason the amiga never made a dent in the US market 'its a game computer" same reason most games for it are action, plenty of the deeper stuff, but it got less recognition.

Apidya- one of the greatest shooters of all time, action though
Walker- late amiga game by Psygnosis (action again) but dang fun
