I don't listen to rap; I've had enough of trying to find good ones.

I usually don't listen to music because it is just so hard to find albums that are actually worth buying (besides that one hit single) but here's what I can't stomach anymore:

LiteFM stuff (those 80's/90's ballads)
Teenybopper stuff
R&B/soul
Most jazz is no good with me
Rap (Almost nothing put out in the past 8 years is worth anything IMO)
I put the NO in techno

I'm not sure how the genre breaks down but I'd like to hear some more of rock. Or alternative... or is it metal? How would Evanescence quantify? I don't like stuff like Bowling for Soup - 1985, I'm looking for depressing/angry/spine-tingly music. The inspirational music in trailers that promotes a guy product (action movies/games).

Or just some good pumping music to workout/run to.

You guys gotta let me know.

Pink floyd albums, get the best of "echoes" to get a taste of them, personally, if i were starting out, i would get "Meddle"

Led Zeppelin, get their 4th album and House of the Holy

Iron Maiden's "The number of the beast" album

Get david bowie's 2 CD best of album

Guns and Roses' appetite for destruction also

Heard some good music here.

Namely "Sick Sad Little World," "Megalomaniac," "Talk Shows on Mute," "Stellar," and "Wish You Were Here."

Try to get a hold of L.S.U.'s _The Grape Prophet_. L.S.U. stands for Lifesavers Underground, Mike Knott's band.
