Recommend me booze! I don't drink. Hate alcohol taste.

I don't drink but I want to find a drink that I can order and enjoy without hating it.

1. One beer is good enough. Two means I'm puking.

2. I hate the taste of alcohol and can often detect it in even the most well-hidden, sweet drinks. It ruins the drink for me.

3. The majority of drinks give me a throbbing headache and upset stomach. It's hard being happy and loose when you feel sick.

So, here are the things that I don't like:

Gin and Tonic (disgusting)
Whiskey
Tequila
Red Wine (disgusting)
Most White Wine, including Rieslings (disgusting)
Beer (fruity beers included)
Daiquiris (I'd rather have 100% juice)
Long Island
Sake Bomb (very sick)
Ales
Hard Lemonade
Rum
Rum and Coke
Vodka and Orange Juice
Mead
Kahlua
Sake

Things that I'm ok with:

High quality Vodka (just one shot, not too much bad taste)
Moscato (if I HAD to drink one wine, this would be it_

Things that I've liked:

Woodchuck Cider

So I'm beginning to think that pursuing super sweet drinks in the hopes of masking the alcohol is like barking up the wrong tree. I think sour is where it's at for me. I actually LIKED the cider and it didn't give me a headache or upset stomach.

Any other recommendations for super sour drinks or other drinks in general?

White Zinfindel - tastes like kool aid, great with pizza.

Also, don't drink. You wake up with a sore head, and upset stomach, and torn underwear.

I would recomend vodka and lemonade. You can have it as strong or weak as you like. And high quality vodkas have no taste

You might as well just stick with the cider. It's a little fruity, but Woodchuck tastes pretty good. You might also want to check out Mike's Hard Lemonade... you can't taste the alcohol at all.

You need to go to girl drinks. Try 1 oz rum and 16 oz fruit punch.

Or a really light whiskey sour if you're looking for sour.

If you can't drink that then you aren't designed to drink alcohol.

I'll give it a try. I probably won't like the taste though.

Tried it. Too alcohol-y to me. Bleh.

I'll try this. But it's gotta be a really nice vodka.

Mike's Hard Lemonade becomes too bitter for me after less than half the bottle. Plus it makes me sick. All varieties.

What about really bitter beers? Like some of the really hoppy IPAs.

Tried them. Hells no.

WTF are you puking after 2 beers? Before we go any further, I think this needs to be addressed. Perhaps you are allergic to alcohol.

Best tasting drink I've ever had:

Absolut Pears Vodka
Seltzer
Lime Juice.

Adjust Seltzer and Lime juice and you will not taste the alcohol.

Tastes like a mild pear-flavored water with fizzle.

Try Bacardi O or Bacardi Limon and water. IT has a citrus-y taste and the water prevents any type of hangover. Don't mix too strong at first.

You shouldn't be puking. I think you just have to keep at it and hope you adapt. Wine is probably going to be the best bet. Gets you buzzed fast with the least amount of volume. Just keep trying wine and hope you get used to it. Try a port.

No kidding, that's not normal. I've had some beers that are nauseating and induce gag reflux, but there are some really good beers out there.
