Recommend me an mp3 player

I'm looking for a small/light mp3 player that will hold at least 1gb, has a good battery life and is priced under $150. It will exclusively be used for work outs (running, biking etc). The iPOD shuffle looks interesting, is there anything comparable that I should look at?

iPod 20gb - if you want that much
Nano - SFF + good storage
Muvo TX - Cheap + decent amt of storage

and be prepared...

Sony Ericsson W800i =) - THE ULTIMATE MP3/Phone/Camera/All-in-One. I wish I had one of these. I would take this over a Nano anyday.

I thought everyone was against the nano? It looks nice, but what about all of the horror stories about it scratching and cracking?

Rio Carbon

great battery life, one of the best. has 6GB, small, stylish and has gotten great reviews.

it is less than the Nano and better

Ipod nano = if you can afford it, flash, good... MWAHAHAHA DANG IT...
Muvo2 fm = Radio + 5 GB, cheaper. You might find it used for $150, not sure.

i have it. it does have problems with the headphone jack. it's easy to damage if you mistreat it. i got mine RMA'd. they sent me a new one to replace it. the sound quality is excellent. did not realize how much crappier other MP3 players were in terms of the audio output (same headphones).

coworker's shuffle stopped recharging, no clue on the RMA yet.
the ipod nano looks slick. would probably have bought that instead of the zen micro if it was out earlier this year.

Yeah, headphone jack is pretty weak, sounded underwater cause of the damage... But... sounds goood... 🙂
