Recommend me an FPS to buy

I'm recovering from my WoW addiction with moderate amounts of Battlefield 2. I run it in 1920x1200 and it looks SOOOO nice.
It's not the most stable game out there. (By that I mean it's buggy as hell), but it's generally more reliable than WoW.

I also re-installed RTCW: Enemy Territory ... as that was one of my favorite games pre-WoW. It's a lot of fun, and it's free ... but the graphics are far from top of the line. It looks good enough for me though, and it plays great.

If you do pick up Battlefield 2, it's not really worth it to purchase the "booster packs."

If you want something great for single player, pick up Far Cry if you haven't played it yet. It may be a few years old, but it was my favorite single player game since the original Half Life.

Somthing about capping a mercnary from a mile away makes me happy. Get far cry.
