I watched the second Punisher movie the other day, really enjoyed it. It's super gory, and has a comic background!

Out of what I decided to see it was the best. A-team was terrible, The Losers wasn't that great either. I can't really recall any others. R.E.D. was at least entertaining due to its cast, but its more like an action comedy. Everyone in that movie is pretty much too old for a true action flick.

EDIT: Oh G.I. Joe was really brain dead, but nostalgia for my toys helped me enjoy it on some level. I also enjoyed Predators, but wished Terminator Salvation was never made.

GI Joe was deplorable. impossible to watch. It is not in the "good brain dead" category.

Thor? Also Source code and Limitless. Not just action but I think they apply.

Live Free and Die Hard
Any Lethal Weapon
Beverly Hills Cop

My suggestion though is "The Patriot".

War Zone has that great scene of Parkour Interruptus - which easily makes this film worth viewing....

I thought it was a truly worthy action flick. I also thought Jigsaw was a more comic-book like villain than the Saints. It also had a lot of decent scenes, as in the "who punishes the punisher" scene.

I'd give it a 4/5 as far as action flicks go.

so, while you're watching this movie, does this mean that ATOT will be graced without your presence for the next ~two hours?

what the heck...how am I supposed to know what this guy hasn't already seen?

If we are going for obscure, watch Tromeo and Juliet.

Plenty of action and....hell just watch it.
