I start a new job on 1st october and I'm gettin' a whole new computer there. I'm looking now for the best 21" monitor there is. The price doesn't matter too much.

Thanks

MITSUBISHI 22"/20V DP2070-BK 2048X1536 86HZ DIAMONDTRON FLAT (Black)

$790 shipped at monitorsdirect.com

Yes, yes... onlly 20" viewable but note Sony's 21" monitor is 19.8 viewable and costs about the same.

There is no competition for the Eizo F980. Every review you can find says that it's what you buy when price is no object. About $1800.

I need it to code PHP, ASP and HTML pages. Well 1800$ is a little bit steep I guess...

I've spent two months researching 21"/22" monitors and the Mitusbishi DP2070-BK will be the monitor I'll be buying. It has two superbright modes that make it 2-3 times as bright as other CRT monitors, which makes it great for games and movies.

if i had the money....why do these always start that way lol

the sony f520 would be my bet but at 1594.00 it may be a bit steep for your tastes

try monitors direct they are located at resellerratings here

they offer a compare mode to work it go to the model you are intrested in and click compare then go to another monitor and click compare like this one here

also they have reviews on most of their products and user reviews in those links.they can give more info for you to see for yourself than i can,so...

hope this helps

Sony F520. It's the only aperture grille monitor with an 0.22mm grille pitch. Other "high end" monitors are only 0.24mm.

I have the G520. It's nice too for about half the price.

Some mexicans at a local computer show were selling HP 21inch monitors for $300 a piece, my friend offered $250 cash and they accepted it(there boss is some asian guy who wasnt around at the time;)). The monitor uses the same technology as the sony Flat CRT monitors, check your local compu show maybe u'll be in the same luck.
