recommend me a verizon cell phone?!?

I recently added a second phone to our family share plan. I got an LG VX10 off of ebay for about $40 shipped. The problem I am having is that the ringer is so low you cannot hear the phone if it is in your pocket! Great job LG! Stellar work there!

Anyways, I need a recommendation of a good phone in the $50-$100 price range... I dont need camera, or anything fancy...black and white doesnt really bother me that much either.

or if you know a fix to the VX10 that would be helpful too! (Apparently the low volume is a major issue with VX10 owners)

I have a VX4500 (last one was a VX1). Great phone. Good quality, loud speakerphone. It's basic, but it works for me.

VX4500 is a good choice - it has a color screen but you should be able to get it fairly cheap since it's an older phone. It's also tri-mode I think.

VX4600 is essentially the same phone as the VX6000, only without a camera. So it's an excellent phone, but it might be out of your price range.

We've had several phones over the years. Right now we have Samsung A670's and like them. There's a no camera model as well the A650 I think... And they are almost always on sale - but then what cell phone isn't??

I ended up getting a Samsung A650

it was free because I had already extended my coverage.

free is good and my friend has the A660 so I know I like it
