Recommend me a switchable surge protector for home theater & whatnot

So I've got the usual home theater stuff: LCD TV, receiver, HD-DVD player (I think this thing is a power hog), Xbox 360, cable box (which will be leaving soon).

I'd like an inexpensive and convenient way to switch all these off from the wall. In the case of a cable box, it would be good if I could leave that on regardless of the switch - so a bunch of switched outlets, and a non-switched or two.

I saw a Belkin surge protector @ Sam's Club that has a remote control which is neat, but it costs over $30.

Can anyone recommend anything that is less expensive, but has sufficient number of outlets & switching that is more convenient than unplugging from the wall?

EDIT Damnit I forgot we have a home theater forum. Mods - can you move please? SORRY!

Moved at OP's request.

Have you considered buying a good universal remote and then using that to switch off all your components at the same time?

The purpose of it is not to turn the devices off, but eliminate power draw when off.

Thanks nickbits, but I can get something that will work for about $30. I'm trying to find it for less.
