"recommend me" a steam vacuum

dunno but back in my day i had a red vaccum with no wheels or handles and it had a 1 foot power cord so i had to vacuum with the dam thing slanted and had to change electric outlets to vacuum multiple parts of my room.

I have a hoover now. *hugs vacuum*

We have a hoover steamvac...but it's about 8 years old. It's great, so check epinions, amazon reviews, etc to see if the newer hoovers are still as good. It was about $200.

But it's not really a 'steam cleaner' , it's a hot water extractor. I'm not sure real steam would be good on a carpet. Bissell is another good brand for that kind of carpet cleaner.

I have a hoover steamvac and its pretty nice.

Its great if you have pets and they pee on the carpet. You can simply use the sucking method without water to suck up the urine, then after the urine is sucked up you can then use the hotwater and soap to steam clean it.

I have a hoover steamvac, its my second, and mine (granted probably due to leaving bleach in them) leaked like hell and broke. I fixed my newest one so I am happy with it, but I am definitely going to look into another brand.

LOL actually it's to do some heavy cleaning in my basement, it floods constantly because of the fing old copper plumbing so the mold and mildew runs rampant.
