I have an old Abit KT7A motherboard. I'd like to install a SATA raid on it, and I need a SATA controller. Since it only has regular PCI slots, I don't need SATA II, but whatever is cheaper is fine with me.
I don't necessarily need RAID controller - I could do a software RAID. Right now this machine runs Fedora Core 2, but I plan on upgrading it to Fedora Core 7. But if you know a SATA controller that does RAID, and is recognized by this mobo (and supported by FC7) - all the better!
Thanks!

Alternatively, if you guys think it's too much hassle or is not worth it, I am thinking of getting D-Link DNS-323 and just running it standalone as a NAS box.
