RMA'n a bad Corsair 750W I got on amazon. Won't boot the mobo, tried the paper-clip trick and fans spin for a second, then boom off.

- Not Corsair
- Must be on amazon
- Must be at least 750W
- Handles i7 processor
- Handles Cross-fire
- Must be Modular
- $ < 150

Another person who assumes since they got a single bad unit from a line prooven to be good, that they are all bad.

Whatever we suggest to you, you have about an equal amount of possibility that you will get another bad unit from them as you do from Corsair.

The only reason I see not to recommend a Corsair do you, is that you want it to be 750W at least and modular. The only Modular unit over 750W that Corsair has now is the HX1000.

Anyway Antec Truepower New fits your criteria

Only problem, is that it is just barely modular.

Very true. I'll take your corsair advice in consideration on my next build.

But, I just ordered a Silverstone D1000 (Modular + 1000W).
