Recommend me a pc game

i think i may be completely burned out on games ... are there any friggin games worth playing anymore? it just seems like the only way i can have any fun any more is if i'm playing a game coop with a bud, and it just seems like those are never made anymore 🙁

at the moment, i've got all my money on nwn2 saving me from this boredom, is there anything else worth banking on?

currently i'm replaying Freespace with the SCP and nice fancy gfx and all that jazz ... but it's just not as fun as it was back in the day =/

here's a small list of games i've played so that you dont have to recommend them to me:
world of warcraft (please dont recommend another mmorpg - if there's no ending, i dont want to play it)
Unreal Tournament 1/2k3/2k4
Serious Sam 1/2
Knight of the Old Republic 1/2
Half-life 1/2
Counter-Strike:Source
Battlefield 1/2
Far Cry
Pirates
Call of Duty
Painkiller
FEAR
Baldur's Gate 1/2&expansions
Icewind Dale 1/2
Fallout 1/2
Planescape

ps: i'm not really interested in RTS games or Tycoon games

UPDATE: so i'm interested in Condemned, anything else i should check out?

meh, i've played bf2 and couldn't get into it. it's just not fun constantly respawning only to be nuked/rocketed/runover/sniped yet again ... i'll check out sin, i played the original way back in the day, so maybe this new one will take me back to the good days

Oblivion and Civ 4 are both 9/10 games according to most review sites, and according to me. Far Cry is ageing but still awesome. Sid Mier's Pirates is break from the status quo.

already played far cry and pirates ...i *almost* bought oblivion today ... not very interested in Civ 4 unfortuantely

Listen to your boredom and do something else. Read a book, listen to an entire album start to finish with headphones on, take a walk in a park, sign up for a class at the rec. center. When you get the urge to play something you'll enjoy it much more.

Take dummy's advice - spend some time learning how to use English correctly. 😛

i listen to music all day whilst at work. I LOVE music much MUCH more than games my friend 🙂 as a matter of fact i probably play my guitar more than games these days (i perfer the drums actually, but i currently live in an apartment, and that's a no no) ... also, i just happened to have ordered me some books yesterday

Awesome Action-adventure game that is also Fantasy RPG and FPS fighting too . . .

the best game this millenium . . . so far . .. you can play it for hundreds of hours . . . and then start playing the mods.

i can't get past the leveling system... to me it's very annoying, and is the very definition of "grinding"

If you think you like NWN2, why don't you try any of the older AD&D-based games, like Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale? Those are always good. For similar action, old old RPGs like Fallout and Fallout 2 (great games still, btw) are good pics. Cheap, too.

i really think you can just safetly ignore it. When the enemies get too "strong" . . . just go to sleep and choose the "+5 multipliers" . . . generally - the ones that suit your Char - the ones you use regularly and want to advance

that 'grind' take a minute every few hours. 😛

and you are back up to par 🙂

i got to level 92 when eveything *maxed* . . . then i started with the mods.
:Q

Just be warned, it is a rather short game, and not necessarily fulfilling (plot-wise.) All those questions, and so few answers. 🙁

But yeah, beating junkies in the head with a lead pipe, or better yet, the handle from a paper slicer, is worth the price of admission.
