I RMA'd a ABIT IS7-V2 Socket 478 Intel 848P ATX Intel Motherboard from Newegg and they are currently out of stock so I need to find a new motherboard. I need an AGP slot for my Radeon 700XL, Just something that will get my computer up and running so I can play BF2. This board was Anandtech approved btw. Thanks.

i bought an ABIT IA7 , just like you l blew up my ABIT IC7 ;(.
ABIT AI7 has pretty good reviews and damn cheap :) and really great peformer. but all 478 socket motherboard now days are more expensive then 939 and stupid 775 motherboards. 478 Northwood still perform better than most stupid new P4 but no mothetboard. I recommend you sell your CPU and buy a AMD vinice 3000+ 939 and $60 Nf4 motherboard. you can oc a AMD vinice 3000+ to 2.6Ghz easy :)

I would love to sell the P4 and go back to AMD but as a college student it's not an option. :( I've had nothing but problems with the computer, this will be it's 3rd MB.

And I don't see an ABIT IA7 on neweggs site :( I've been on my 800MHz duron for the last 3 months and BF2 which I bought when it was released is still shrink wrapped I just want the computer up to game on.

actually i think you are looking for the ABIT AI7 (easy mix up between ai and ia) and newegg doesnt appear to have it. http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php?masterid=1420753&search=abit+ai7 (but u can check out pricegrabber for the price and places to get it) Also i dont belive u can get the board for $60 (at least $92 for new and $85 refurbished) so u might need to look elsewhere
The ai7 is a good board, i bought as a replacment board and havent been disappointed much.
But i have been having a few problems with the onboard audio and some stability issues but i belvie thats due to i bought a refurbished board or my video card or some other piece of hardware is faulty. I havent been able to get some parts to test it so i have no idea if the mobo is the main cause of the problem.

I'm tight on funds $90 is too much to spend right now and I'm not up for waiting any longer. Just something that will work so I can game.

Got the motherboard today and I can get any of my video cards to work, the monitor just isn't getting a signal from them and the connections are tight. I really hate computers.
