Herman Millers and Human Scales are way more than I want to spend. I'd like to keep it under $500 and to have it not break in a year.

Some requirements would be adjustable height, adjustable armrests, and some degree of lumbar support. I can live without a headrest, but I need to be able to sit in it for a few hours at a time. I would prefer to be able to find it in B&M so that I can try it out first.

I got a good chair at Office Depot for like $150 last year. Comfortable, leather, lots of adjustable shit, mesh back to reduce sweating... I like it.

Ebay Herman Millers, you can get one that's almost new for less than $500. I got mine with posturefit and the 2 locks new minus warranty for $600.

Been looking at the bungee chairs myself recently.

Like the looks of the Bungie J-arm chair (go look at amazon).

I've ordered 2 leather exec style chairs in my life, 1 from Staples and 1 recently from office depot.

The staples chair did not have enough padding so after 1+year I had to use a pillow with it cause it just got hard on my ass.

The one from office depot LOOKED like this one. It was a different wood type...

It wasn't $989, it was actually marked as $99. The sale expired but they had the sign out there still so they honored the price. It originally came up as $198

I do recommend office depot as they have many chairs you can test out. You won't find many stores though so good luck!

I use a pillow on my chair also, its a $150 chair so I didn't expect alot.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll take a look into some of them. I'm still iffy on getting an ebay chair; I've gotten enough things that fell short of the description.
