That was ok, but I hated the people so much it got on my nerves after a while.

I liked Bernie for a recentish movie. If you want something a little more drama-oriented, I cannot recommend Birth highly enough. I watched it for the first time in the summer and it quickly became one of my favourite movies ever. It's quiet and sad, but amazing!
