Recommend me a movie to watch tonight...

Zeze

Lifer
Anything good...

The problem is... I like movies and watched a lot of them. Better chances if you know a good foreign movie (Asian or European).

Nothing too old please (later than 1980).

I'm far from a movie guy, but i honestly liked Pan's Labyrinth which i think was Spanish, at least the one i watched was, but it was more than what i expected, had some pretty tense moments in it.

If you like documentaries...I watched Marley the other night on Netflix streaming and it was pretty damn good if you even remotely like Reggae music and Bob Marley. Lots of insight on the man himself and some facts you might not have ever known about him, like the fact that his dad was a white, English guy.

I just got done watching "The Thirteenth Floor". I've seen it before years ago but it's pretty dang good.

What did you end up watching Zeze?
About the only movies i ever watch anymore are the old black and white films. For whatever reason i just can't stand modern films, especially the lone wolf type stuff where the one guy saves the world or the hot young college girl is the only one that lives, pfff, whatever.

What, there are so so many modern movies with amazing plots:

Anything by Wes Anderson and so on... brain dead this morning. Moon is also great, so is Children of Men. Stay away from movies made for kids, there are tons of amazing films you're missing out.

We ended up seeing Queen of Versailles. It's a RL documentary about Siegel family- the CEO of Westgate properties and how they went from cringe-worthy gaudy lifestyle to rags after the 2008 market crash.

Keep the suggestions coming, I'll be checking all of them out.
