I have an optical mouse. I know a mouse pad isn't necessary, but I like having one. My old one had a gel wrist pad which I really liked, but it started falling apart and now is uncomfortable to use. A comfortable wrist pad is very important to me. Thanks.

ratpad.gs.

I will say this is the only pad I've used that wasn't one of those crappy floppy ones but still, I love this thing.

No wrist support cushion though.

Sounds like you need a wrist pad more than a mouse pad. Func and Ratpadz are both good but you'll need to buy a wrist pad separately.

I just use a normal (plain) mousepad. I would just get a wristpad seperately if it's optical.

I have an HP pad from Walmart. Best pad for the optical that I've ever used. It has a surface kind of like those motion baseball cards.

I also have a seperate wrist support.

cut a piece of your ass, run over it for a few hundred times, lick the inner part of it, stick it to your desk, stable it on the edges, paint it to white. perfect.

ohhh hecks naw, the 3m surface is weak compared to the func 1030. the func is the definitively best mouse pad ever! for gamers that is. it doesn't have a gel pad or antyhign but it has given me a precise surface on which i can hone my accuracy

you can buy wrist gel rests without the lousy belkin pad:) ratzgs/everglide/func slaughter those cheap pads.

i need to get one for my optical mouse but i have very limited space. so i need one that can easily be cut to size but i still want my mouse to glide as smooth as possible. i'm thinking the Ricochet and some of those mouse skatez but it's hard to tell how tuff the pad is from the picture. any ideas?
