You guys are being a little hard on the guy, people always ask for advice on various hardware that has its own forum here.
rpc64: I have owned both the Asus P5A and the Tyan S1598. Very stable boards. I dont know the prices of these anymore, but I would highly recommend either one. Both also will take the K6III mobile chip. If you do look for the Asus P5A then get board revision 1.4 or earlier.
