I'm upgrading my current system to an AMD64. The issue here is that I have a 9800pro that I'd like to keep for a while... but be able to upgrade to a PCIe vid card eventually...

What motherboards would you guys recommend that could support AGP and PCIe x16? Is there a such a beast? And would it be worth it? I did a search on newegg using this criteria and I couldn't find any... any help would be great!

Thanks.

Really? I'm looking at the specs listed on Newegg, and it says it only has a PCIe 16x slot, and no AGP.

Biostar has a S939 MB with XGP. It lets you use AGP or PCI-e.
The problem with it is that it cripples the AGP slot to run it thru the PCI-e bus. I believe it wil basically run as a 1X AGP.
I think your best bet is to pick one or the other. Maybe try and sell the 9800 pro and just get a PCI-e card now.
