Just like the title says (I have moderate/intermediate experience in Java, but that was years ago).

And yes, I did try Googling already, but I thought I'd ask here anyway, given a lot of you know your stuff and such.
 
Just start programming again. I don't see any point in practicing. Learn what you need when you need it.
 
The issue is I need to do an entrance test or something for the database programming course I'm thinking of applying to.

But yea, you're probably right. I'll just look up random guides online and make myself some arbitrary projects.
