willing to spend up to $50 for a heatsink, would prefer to spend a bit less, not looking for extremely aggressive overclock, will be using GA-P35-DS3L that I"m also buying today.

looking to reach 3.2Ghz on a Q6600 G0 stepping, so easy installation is nice too, would prefer to not have to deal with a mounting kit.

specs are in sig

Out of everything there, that's probably your best bet for the money. It's not a performance champ, but it's probably close to the Freezer 7's performance. I'm running one right now (until I get the time to get my liquid cooling back up and running) and it's not too bad.

30$ for a hyper TX 2 ? The one that has been selling for 2$ AR ? If you add 15$ at newegg.com you get a tuniq tower, one of the best aircoolers you can get. I don't know, why not try and OC with your stock cooler first, and see if you can hit 3.0ghz ? You can always spend money on a new HSF later on if need be. Because I don't think 30$ is worth the TX2.

Why say you have a $50 budget and then say you'd rather spend less? What is the budget then? Cooler Master Hyper 212 is $45 and is arguably the best cooler off that list, at least under $50. Installation is pretty simple, just four bolts on the back of the motherboard. Though you obviously need to remove the board from the case but that's a pro in my mind for secure mount rather than a con.

Most of the reviews of the TX2 I've seen match it up with the Freezer 7 Pro, so it performs well for the price (which is usually less than $30).

My Hyper TX2 is doing well by me, but like was written above, they are often on rebate for nearly FAR. I think mine was $5. AR + sh, and I bought it with some other stuff, so shipping didn't work out to much. It's $15.00 straight up (meaning no rebate involved) at SVC.com right now. If you're anywhere near San Jose, run on over and pick one up. Or Fry's may match online prices - a few B&Ms still do that. Can't hardly beat it for $15 unless you're willing to wait for a rebate deal to come up.

Even for $15 at SVC, the Hyper TX2 is a deal. It works reasonably well, not superb, but just well.
