Recommend me a headphone amp

Well I've been thinking for a while that I'd like to get more oomph from things like my portable MP3 player when I plug my Sennheiser HD-280 Pros into them. The thing is I'm not quite sure which headphone amp would be the best match for my headphones. A few people seem to have picked up Little Dot MKIII amps on this forum and they do look like outstanding amps but they're way out of my price range. Other than going CMOY are there any decent not so expensive headphone amps? They don't need to be tube amps of course.

Ok perhaps the reason I haven't gotten any responses is because I haven't put up a price range. Is there anything worth buying in the $40-$50 price range?

I would tentatively say "no". The HD280Pro doesn't have much bass response to begin with according to headroom's FR measurement. I think you would be better off investing the money into better headcans first.
