Recommend me a hard drive cooler compatible with the Antec Sonata Case

How would I go about installing a hard drive cooler into a case like the Sonata? Considering a lot of hard drive coolers use the 4 screws on the bottom of the hard drive, this may be somewhat difficult for the sliding cages of the Sonata (since they use the same 4 screws)

And how the heck do these types work?

Am I just being paranoid about my temps and probably don't even need a HDD Cooler? Here are my reported temps, courtesty of Everest

idle - 39-40 celsius
load (like after playing Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory for over an hour), 45-46 celsius

I'm running one Seagate 120GB SATA Hard Drive

thanks

edit: oh yeah, keep the price low, like under $15. I'm not into flashy lights or a real time LED sensor or other jazz.

is the surface of the HDD hot to the touch? I would doubt it since you got a 120mm blowing on it which is very sufficient.

you do not need a hard drive cooler if the front intake fan is blowing on the HDD.
in my SX630 case, with the intake fan in the hard drive cage, the hard drives are as cool as the side of the case, to the touch... NO need for any further cooling.

yeah, those are my HDD temps according to Everest. 39-40 idle, 45-46 under load.

Do you guys have a recommendation of which drive cage I should be putting my HDD in? (like the top, middle or bottom?) I've tried them all, and none give me any noticeable difference in my HDD temp.

And oh yeah, I removed all the drive cages that I'm not using.

It's not blazing hot or anything, but it definitely is warm to touch. It would definitely make a good foot warmer on cold days. And those temps do seem a tad bit high... Do Seagate SATA's run a bit warmer or soemthign?

On the Seagate site, it says it's safe between 5 and 55. Of course, that' s not really useful information. That's like saying my Athlon 64 is okay to run at 70 cuz the site says so.

edit: currious, what do the FAN ONLY connectors for my 380W TruePower PSU do exactly? I know my front fan is stated on the box to run at 2000 RPM, but I only ever see it run at half that speed. I'm wondering if I should connect my fans to a normal 4-pin connector instead of the FAN ONLY ones...

The Fan Only connectors throttle fan speed based on PSU temp. I'm running two Raptors and a 7200RPM Maxtor in a Sonata with the front 120mm fan and all three drives are barely warm to the touch.

i bypassed the fan only connectors with my case fans, they were running really slow (one wasn't even moving), i guess that's why (based on psu temp). i can't control the speed but i like mine running full speed anyhow.

I just connected my case fans to the "normal" 4 pin connectors, and man, what a difference. But unfortunately, it's noisy as hell now...
I'm thinking of just connecting one of the case fans to the "FAN ONLY' and connecting the other to a normal connector.

Which fan should I give the higher RPM and noise level to? the front or the back?
